Steam Weekly Sales Chart: Hollow Knight: Silksong Tops Both Global and China Rankings

September 16, Ggamen.com — Steam has released its latest weekly sales rankings (covering September 2–9, 2025, excluding free-to-play titles and the Steam Deck hardware).

Globally, the long-awaited sequel Hollow Knight: Silksong has unsurprisingly taken the top spot, overtaking Borderlands 4. The original Hollow Knight also rode the hype back into the charts at ninth place, ahead of Red Dead Redemption 2.

  4. NBA 2K26

  5. Path of Exile 2

  6. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

  7. Baldur’s Gate 3

Meanwhile, in the China region, Hollow Knight: Silksong also claimed the No.1 spot, followed by NBA 2K26 and Baldur’s Gate 3.

The dual success of Silksong at the top of both charts highlights the overwhelming global anticipation for Team Cherry’s sequel.
